Formulas used in calculation of BSA
There are several formulas that could be used to calculate BSA, but the most commonly used formula was developed by Dubois and Dubois and it is as follows:
1. BSA in M2 = 0.007184 x (Height in cm)0.725 x (Weight in kilos)0.425
There are other formulas for the calculation of BSA developed by other researches and I am going to mention two more formulas briefly, but for the rest of the articles we are going to use the Dubois and Dubois formula
2. BSA in M2 = 0.024265 x (Height in cm)0.3964 x (Weight in kilos)0.5378
3. BSA in M2 = 0.0235 x (Height in cm)0.42246 x (Weight in kilos)0.51456
If you have a scientific calculator you can easily calculate the value of BSA form your height and weight
