Units used in dose calculations
Metric system is the unit used for measurement of distance and weight all over the world with the notable exception of the United States of America. United States for some unknown reasons has decided to keep the old traditional units of measurement for weight and height. Americans mostly talk about pound, inches and foot when they talk about measurement of weight and distance. If you ask an American what is his height or weight is, he or she is most likely to tell you his or her height in inches and weight in pounds. I would give you a word of caution here. Dont ask an American for his weight unless you are sure that they are below the average weight limit. This goes especially true if you are asking this question to a woman.
